CrimeMaps.ca has no user accounts and no login. We do not store names, emails, phone numbers, or personal profiles. We only use aggregate, anonymous usage stats to understand which pages people use and where the product is useful — for example page views, visit duration, scroll depth on long pages, section and FAQ opens, clicks on map controls or incident pins (category only, never the address), and clicks on primary buttons or internal links. Analytics is cookieless and is not used to identify you. We do not record search queries, precise coordinates, or personal information in analytics events. Your browser may keep non-personal UI state (for example theme preference) in local storage on your device.
Incidents come from public police and municipal open-data portals. Locations are rounded (about 111 m). For concerns about a record, email support@crimemaps.ca.
